Last updated: February 6, 2026
General
Your privacy is very important to us. We take reasonable measures to secure sensitive information against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no security or encryption method can guarantee complete protection from hacking or human error. All processing performed by Mobile Vault happens locally on your device. The application does not send your data to external servers, cloud services, or third parties. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not use analytics services. We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies. Information processed by the application may be stored on devices in any country where we operate.
User Experience
This UWP application may use technologies such as local storage or unique device identifiers to improve performance, save app settings, and enhance user experience. The system may log non‑personal information such as device type, operating system version, and in‑app actions.
User Credentials
Mobile Vault uses user‑defined credentials (PIN) to encrypt and decrypt stored data. The application does not access or collect user credentials without your knowledge. Encrypted metadata may be stored in the Windows Credential Manager to help users recover access if they forget their PIN. Accessing Credential Manager
Data Collection
Mobile Vault does not collect financial information or personally identifiable data without your consent. All information stored in the app remains on your device unless you choose to export an encrypted backup. Backup files are encrypted, but exporting them introduces potential risk. The user is fully responsible for the security of exported data, including where it is stored, how it is transferred, and who has access to it. Even though the backup is encrypted and protected by your PIN, improper handling (e.g., uploading to an insecure cloud service, sharing the file, or storing it on an untrusted device) may expose your data. The app does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or device ID unless you explicitly provide it (for example, when contacting support).
Updates to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Significant changes may be communicated through in‑app notices or other appropriate channels.
